Just a bit of housekeeping news.

I’ve been asked to be a regular contributor to an amazing industry publication called Branding Magazine. You can check them out here: http://www.brandingmagazine.com.

I spent a lot of time thinking about what I had to contribute to the magazine. There is a lot of great coverage on design, industry innovation and even strategy. So I decided to write about my passion, entrepreneurship.

I am honored and excited to announce my new weekly column on Branding Magazine. Here is a quick synopsis on my column:

Branding is one of the most misunderstood and complex challenges facing entrepreneurs. Branding is also one of the most important ingredients of a successful startup. A lack of clarity in brand development causes frustration, confusion and worst of all, large amounts of capital spent in the wrong places. That’s why I’ve decided to focus this weekly column on the unique challenges and possibilities facing entrepreneurs in brand development.

Together, we will explore what brand development means for entrepreneurs, why branding matters and what it means to develop brands in the relational economy. This column is designed to be a useful source of ideas, knowledge and discussion that helps you craft better brands and ultimately, better businesses.

My first article explores why branding matters called, Branding ≠ Bullshit: Why Branding Should Matter To Entrepreneurs.

I encourage you to check out the magazine and stay plugged in.
