Jeremiah Gardner helps people become better explorers.
Starting something new, leading through change, and diving into an underwater cave ask the same thing: moving into territory without a reliable map and finding the way forward anyway.
Exploration is less about courage than discipline. Good explorers read conditions as they are, not as they expect them to be. They stay anchored to what matters, the way a cave diver stays connected to the line that leads home. And they adjust as new evidence changes the picture.
Gardner has spent two decades practicing and teaching this discipline across business and extreme environments. He has led innovation from the C-suite and advised organizations including Roche, ING, Nike, and GE as they navigated transformation. As a technical cave diver and dive instructor, he trains divers to operate in environments with no natural light and no direct route to the surface.
His books explore the same territory. The Wall Street Journal bestseller The Lean Brand brought experimentation to how companies build brands. The Read (2027) takes on the skill that comes before action: seeing what is actually happening. He is also the creator of the Goldline, a framework for staying anchored while exploring what is possible, and co-founder of DeadReckon.
Gardner has delivered more than 100 keynotes in over 20 countries. Across his writing, speaking, teaching, and exploration, his work centers on a single question: How do we go farther into the unknown without losing our way?

Computer and video
Jeremiah provides his own current Apple MacBook with four Thunderbolt 3 ports. Presentations use a 16:9 display ratio at 3840 × 2160.
Slide advancer
Provide a DSAN Perfect Cue system or equivalent for Jeremiah’s direct slide control, connected to his laptop via USB-C.
Audio
An audio connection is required. Standard 3.5mm analog audio, USB-C, or HDMI can be used.
Computer location
The computer can remain with the AV crew; it does not need to be on stage.
Microphone
A wireless lavalier or countryman microphone connected to a professional audio system is required.
Confidence monitor
At least one confidence monitor is strongly preferred, if possible.
Soundcheck
An AV check is required no fewer than 30 minutes before taking the stage.
Internet
No internet access is needed for the presentation. Videos, audio, and content are embedded on Jeremiah’s laptop.
Stage setup
No podium is preferred. If one must be present, push it back so Jeremiah can walk in front of it unencumbered.
Water
Have a bottle of water available on stage.
